Felicia M. Salomon

President and CEO

A former litigator and general counsel with more than twenty years of experience managing the regulatory requirements of financial institutions, Ms. Salomon co-founded CRSTL Solutions to help organizations meet the challenges of today’s increasingly complex and demanding compliance and governance regimes. Ms. Salomon was senior vice president, chief compliance officer, chief privacy officer, company ombudsman and director of Lombard Canada Ltd. and a past director and chairman of the Property and Casualty Insurance Compensation Corporation. She has served as a member of the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Special Committee on Insolvencies. Ms Salomon is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel, and former Chair of the Technology Section.

 

Adam Mason

VP Technology Development

Mr. Mason supervises the implementation of new technological strategies for effectively delivering legislative, regulatory and corporate compliance directives through software enabled applications. Prior to joining CRSTL, Mr. Mason founded Orbital Web Designs Limited and Orbital Technology Group, an IT consulting firm specializing in a wide range of solutions including Internet Application Design and On-Line Security.

 

DARRYL MASON

Director of Marketing and Sales

As Director of Marketing and Sales, Darryl has overall responsibility for managing and directing CRSTL Solutions Marketing and Sales initiatives worldwide; accelerating growth, best practice and service levels within our market space.

Prior to joining CRSTL Solutions in 2008, Darryl worked with human resource and performance management software vendors with roles including Implementation Manager, Client Development Manager, and Account Manager.

 

Paolo Tonelli

Director of Product Development and Strategy

Paolo Tonelli joined CRSTL Solutions in 2006 as Director of Product Development, with responsibility for all development aspects of CRSTL’s governance, risk, and compliance content and its ongoing currency with new legislative developments. In 2009 he took on the additional role of expanding CRSTL’s product line, expanding CRSTL’s brand presence, and conducting market research to further refine CRSTL’s ability to identify and meet industry needs.
 
Prior to joining CRSTL, Mr. Tonelli was a senior legal writer and content producer for the nation’s leading legal content aggregator, Thomson Carswell. Mr. Tonelli holds an Honors B.A. from the University of Western Ontario, and an L.L.B. from the University of Toronto, and graduated with numerous honors and awards.

 

David Pauls

Senior Compliance Database Developer

David Pauls joined CRSTL Solutions in 2006 as a Senior Compliance Database Developer. Mr. Pauls develops and maintains the executive summaries and assessment questionnaires that form the backbone of CRSTL’s regulatory compliance solutions for financial institutions.
 
Prior to joining CRSTL, Mr. Pauls was a legal writer for Thomson Carswell and a freelance legal researcher. Mr. Pauls has also clerked for the Superior Court of Justice (Ontario), lectured on law at China’s Southwest University of Political Science and Law, and served as Production Editor of the Osgoode Hall Law Journal. Mr. Pauls holds an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University.

 

Khash Sajadi

Chief Architect

Khash Sajadi is the Chief Architect for CRSTL Solutions, responsible for the overall design and implementation of all CRSTL software. Mr. Sajadi designed and developed the Compliance Positioning System™, an enterprise solution for compliance requirements and analysis that provides companies with an adaptable framework that accommodates their business processes.
 
As the CEO and Chief Architect at System Architects Ltd, Mr. Sajadi has serviced the Brokerage, Medical, E-Commerce and HVAC industries. Previously, Khash worked as Information Technology manager for Newcrest Capital Inc. (now TD Securities) and as manager of Rampart Securities Inc. (now Desjardins Securities), where he was also responsible for leading the company's Y2K efforts. Khash is an accomplished Network Security expert and holds an Honours degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario.

 

Michael J. Strofolino, Chair

Chairman
As Chairman of CRSTL’s Advisory Board, Mr. Strofolino is responsible for shaping the company’s strategic direction and providing executive insight and feedback on the company’s product lines. In addition, Mr. Strofolino is tasked with augmenting CRSTL’s Advisory Board with business, academic, and legal experts in the fields of management, technology, compliance, and securities.
 
Mr. Strofolino has been employed in numerous executive management roles both in the public and private sectors. From 1987 to 2002, Mr. Strofolino held a variety of executive positions with Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children, including President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to his business career, Mr. Strofolino played professional football, both in the NFL and CFL, for the L.A. Rams, St. Louis Cardinals and Hamilton Tiger Cats. Mr. Strofolino is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Villanova University in Pennsylvania.
